Short term renting in Ontario

I have been investigating the possibility of short term vacation rental properties in Ontario. I was curious how many others are out there doing short term vacation rentals and what is the best market to purchase for most value, year round in Ontario?

I have been considering this. In my opinion it would be a safe bet to choose an area that has both tourism and business. Rent out at obscene cottage prices for the tourist season, and then at reasonable suite-hotel prices for the rest of the year.

For the winter months you could even make it a "corporate rental" scenario where contract consultants and travelling technicians stay in it for 1-8 weeks at a time.
