Now before I get half this community jumping down my throat about bandit signs, for the most part before i put them up i got the business owners permission.

I know that a lot of people cant stand bandit signs for various reasons, but thinking about it logically, for the money there is no better way to easily to do mass marketing (that I know of). You could spend $.80-$2.00 for a mailed out Yellow Letter or $.50-$1.00 on a mailed out post card, and that $.50-$2.00 will get your name or brand or message out to approximately 1 set of eyes (maybe 2 if one spouse shows it to the other).

On the flip side, you put out 1 bandit sign and hundreds of people can and probably will drive by it every day, often times more than once a day. For the money you'd be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck.

Now please, please, please do not burn me at the stake  for using bandit signs. Instead, I ask that you have empathy towards me. Realizing where I am in my investing career, realizing that this is completely uncharted waters for me, realizing that I still have a rent to pay and a family to feed, that I HAVE to keep my budget as low as possible until I see some sort of upswing (even just a few hundred bucks), and most of all realizing that we all started from somewhere. The @MichaelQuarles and @JerryPucket and @Brandon Turner of the world didnt start out where and who they are now.

With all that being said, my results for the signs I put out were absolutely ZERO phone calls, Zero emails........looks like Zero interest. But im not discouraged and I wont give up.

I only put out about 20 signs and I know thats not much. When i was picking up my signs the lady at the printing place showed me an order for 600 signs. So I know i still have a lot of work ahead of me and a lot of ground to cover.

The signs I put out were hand written in bold, neat letters. I dont know if the problem was the way they looked, or the fact that I only put out so few of them, or maybe the lady at the print shop was right, she told me this would be a bad weekend to put out signs but I didnt care, from now on im going to keep taking steps toward my goals. I OVER think to much and that stops from taking action, and I refuse to let that hold me back anymore

I will be getting more signs but im also looking to build a mailing list this week for a mail campaign. I dont know if I'll do the marketing myself by making a handwritten font or look for the lowest priced service i can find to do the work for.

Any tips, tricks or advice regarding either bandit signs, mailing campaigns or just low price mass marketing in general would be greatly appreciated.

If nothing else, in the future I'll be able to look back at this post, smile, and give thanks for how far I've come......
