Thinking of Investing In South Bend, Indiana area

Hi,

I currently live in the bayarea. As first time investor I feel that the market is way to hot for me. I have family that lives in South Bend, IN area that's trying to get my family to start investing there. Are there any investor already doing the business in South Bend, that can give me any pointers? Or advice. I'm willing to fly there if I can get the chance to shadow any Mentors. I'm looking into buy and hold. Buying  Wholesale rehabbing the property them renting it out. Since this would be my first investment property, any advice could help. I have property managing back grounds, my husband is a contractor in Ca.

Eager to start this journey!!!

Mayra,

I'm familiar with South Bend. We offer properties in Northwest Indiana, about 35 minutes west of South Bend. We have some excellent areas for buy & holds. We can get you in a home for $80k or less and you'll bring in anywhere from $950- $1300 a month in rent. We also have our own rehab crew, property manager and realtor for flipping. We've been in the business for over 10 years.

South Bend is a little bit less expensive than Northwest Indiana, but the rents are lower as well. I know some people out in South Bend too. You might want to look up Homeworks. They're very big out there. The owners name is Joe Colvin.  If I can be of assistance, please let me know.
