First property through turnkey provider. Thanks to BP!

Aloha BP!

I just want to let everyone on BP know that I'm super stoked in acquiring my first RE property through a TK provider and this would have never been possible had I never stumbled onto BP. Chatting with members, converting colleagues into mentors, religiously browsing the forums, asking the questions that seem dumb, and never being judged by anyone here has helped me get to this point.

The lender I will be working with said my numbers look good to be pre-approved for my first property. Now I'm working with my TK provider to start looking into properties that fit my criteria, getting it under contract, then wait for the rehab to be complete, and move tenant(s) in to start receiving cash flow.

My plan is acquire at least 10 properties to replace my monthly expenses multiplied five times. My children are very young and I want to account for the expenses they will incur when they get older (sporting events, eating more food, school expenses, etc). As for now, I'm sticking with SFH but eventually would like to venture down the MFH or apartment complex road. But those will come later as I gain more experience and hopefully network with a partner or mentor (which I am still looking for). Then, who knows what will happen next?

Reading the book "The One Thing", I realize that in pursuing goals, we should think about something or someone much bigger than ourselves. When I put that into perspective as to why am I doing this, it becomes more obvious that my family is my priority and anything I can do to better their future, I will do my best to achieve it. When I was younger, all I thought about was myself and that's why I didn't achieve some of the goals I had back then. But now, I KNOW that I will achieve financial success because my family depends on it. This place really is the one-stop-shop for anything and everything real estate and I thank you all, again, from the bottom of my heart for helping get to this point. ALOHA!
