Multifamily Before and After Renovation
Hello Everyone,
I thought it would be a good idea to share my progress on a multifamily property renovation here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I will share many before and after photos as well as the numbers involved as things progress.
Be sure to follow this post for future updates.
Thanks,
Joseph Lane

Hey @Jason Ruiz,
Those cabinets are original. I essentially sanded and stained those (I haven't had the opportunity to apply poly). For the counter, I picked it out from home depot and contacted a construction company I have a relationship with to do the install. PM me if you'd like the contact info.
I put a good bit of sweat equity into this deal to continue furthering my knowledge which will ultimately aid in working with contractors on larger projects (I've put some degree of sweat equity in all of my smaller deals since 2011). In my opinion, this helps reduce the risk and put out fires early when working with contractors. It's hard to mange a contractor if you truly don't understand the work and the effort if you're just getting started.
At this stage in the game, I can sense potential issues around estimation and quality of work.
