Mold problem

HI there! I am analyzing a property that has a serious MOLD problem. I have not had experience with Mold issues in the past... some are saying it is TERRIBLE and others are saying its the FLIPPERS DREAM. What are your experience with MOLDY homes? Are here any contractors from Virginia area who can advise on a scope of work needed? I would really appreciate your inputs!
