Frustrated 9-5er ready to go full time with REI wholesaling!!

First and for most I am thankful for my employment but I am tired of working for someone else and giving them financial freedom. Ive been into IT for 12 years and it's time for a change!! I'm tired of the first and the 15th pay period's!! I've been researching and learned things about wholesaling and it's exciting. I've understood the math formula so I think I can do the math to identify profit margins. My sources of study of course BP!! I am a free member but the wife is a pro member so we are doing this together!! I would like to talk to a full time REI who understands the struggle and can give me some good advice!
