My first real estate investment

My first real estate investment was my own home. I was a first time home buyer under Obama's First Time Home Buyer Program. I lived in the house for about 5 years and rented out for 8 months. I self managed my property and made an additional $320 a month. After my tenant broke the lease and moved to another state I decided to sale my house. I made a profit of $3,500 from the sale. Now I want to become a full time investor but this time in multi family homes.
