Advice with School & Library tax levies on property in New York
Hello,
We are looking at a possible investment purchase a single family property in upstate New York and there are two tax levies recorded on the property - one is for a school for $77,822,492 and then one for the library - $5,074,209 - yes, these are in the millions ... any idea how to go about getting these removed? I'm in shock at the amounts ... i'm trying to speak to someone on file about them.
The property is worth @ $240,000.
Anyone else experience these?
Thanks for any info.
