First Deal Fix/ Hold Corinth, MS

Hey, guys, I've been lurking for a while, and finally made the commitment of making an account. ... anyways, I'm looking for opinions. I'm thinking about making my first deal. It's a 67K 3bdr 1bth in Corinth, MS 38834. I'm looking for opinions. The house is owned by a son who is trying to cover expenses after the death of his mother, and he's motivated to sell. Realtor says the house could go for 55K... The house needs work. Basically a wall needs to come down and the kitchen expanded. The master (only) bath is tiny, so it would need to be expanded and/ or a new bath added. It's a bit of work, and I'm not sure how much this would cost, especially when you factor in flooring, molding, and new kitchen costs. Would this be an okay first deal?
