Home Warranty for a flip?!?!

Hey BP world, I'm closing my first deal and the escrow officer is asking me if I have found a home warranty. I'm going to buy this property live in it for a year, do a complete remodel( it's a 1960s property) bring it all up to date and sell it. So I was wondering if home warranty is a requirement, if not,do you recommend me getting it for my situation, I figured not since I'm going to be replacing most things anyway but I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts.
