My first house flip

I work with my mom to flip houses. I am a realtor and she is very good at interior design so we make a great team. I bought a house in Frederick, Maryland and closed on July 1st of 2015. The project took longer than we would have liked but we got it done nevertheless. We tried to get it on the market early December but we got nailed with snow all winter it felt like in Maryland. I finally listed the house early February and we got an offer within 8 days. It was such an exciting feeling. We have a ratified contract and are due to close on March 22nd. It was such a great feeling to know that all the hard we put in was finally paying off. Now since we have the first one under our belt I know that we will get the next one done much faster and do more work ourselves.

We are writing an offer on a house on the same street and hopefully they will come to an agreement with us and we can get to work!!!!
