Craigslist real estate investors

How do you all feel about those ads on Cragslist about investing in RE?  Honestly they seem fishy, I called one out of curiosity and was not impressed.  So I ask you Bigger Pockets community if any of you have had success with these type investors. The ads are found in the jobs section, the ads are exactly what everyone wants to hear, add income part time while you learn and eventually quit your 9-5, etc.  Does anyone know what I am talking about?  These ads have taken over the real estate jobs section on Craigslist in my area.
