Historical Rental Data

Hi All,

I am looking for historical rental data. I found that Craigs list has the best rental listings here in the San Francisco Bay Area, but there is not data on historical rental rates. There are market research companies that track the rental rates of the larger REIT owned complexes, but there does not seem to be anything that tracks or includes the neighborhood rental rates for properties with 1-4 units. I know there have been sites like Padmapper that pull the CL data in to search real time, but I am looking to track the rental data for future use as we go though the up and down cycles. Right now I am periodically savings listing data when underwriting a new deal or when one of my units comes up for rent.

Any suggestions?
