Property Price History

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at buying my first property that I plan on living in for a few years then renting out.

How much stock do you put into Property Price History when looking at something to invest in? I've noticed a lot of the houses in the areas I'm looking have dropped as much as 50,000 from original list price.

Is this a red flag for the area housing market?
