Delinquit Property Tax List in L.A.

I am new here yet have been in real estate for years. I used to work in the mortgage industry during the tail end of the refinance boom. I have a question about the 

Delinquit Property Tax List DVD which is sold by the LA Tax Recorders office for $297. Has anyone purchased it? Is it worth while?

I am trying to find properties that are tax delinquent before they hit the auction list.
