Well it is a start, and where better to tell the world than right here on BP.  Approximately 5mins ago my realtor called me with the good news, with only 38 mins left on a 36hr acceptance window.  I have bought many properties but not with the intention of renting to people.  I have commercial property that I have bought and rented, but that is easy, hands off and the check just arrive each month, but now I have real live people who might complain that the bulb needs replacing, or the taps drips.

A small 1000sqft home with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, LR, DR, kitchen, basement and office/den or possible third bedroom.  The lady had lived in it 70 years, since the day it was built I guess.

Thanks to the posters, even if you don't think you have anything to contribute, you never know who can make use of that small piece of knowledge, I learn a lot.

Bryn
