Advice!
We got a call from a sticky note we posted and the homeowner is very interested in meeting with us. On the auditor's website it says she owes a little over $3,000 in taxes for the current year. On the recorder's website I don't see a "lien". If I wholesale this home, what are the hurdles, if any, of going into contract with someone who owes on their taxes?
