Cost to Buy and Sell Property

I read an article where someone said they typically buy homes priced at $100,000 - $125,000 and they figure their buying and selling costs are about $17,000.  And then they had a table showing the expense, and I'm pretty sure a link to a spreadsheet.  Can someone please send that to me?!
