Hello Everyone:

Could someone please answer this question for me.....how would a wholesaler determine his/her fee? I'm sure it depends on the price of the property, but what is taken into account?

Hi @Nicole C.

I base it per property. Yes, the price of the property is a big part and your fees will have to still make it a great deal but enough cushion in case the buyers need it lower. The lowest I have ever made was $500 on a deal. They way I look at it, $500 is better than $0 and the buyer was happy and the possibility of repeat business so I didn't mind too much. A lot of my buyers are looking for 70% of the ARV so try to get yourself in there as well. Hope that helps somewhat....
