Condo flip or donate
A bank I've been chatting with is offering me a condo on the 5th floor at Condo complex in Temple Hills Md. The market value is between 15k and 25k. They are offering it for it for 5k Plus all closing costs. The kicker is that hoa fees are between 500 and 665 in that complex. I don't know the amount of work needed and the HOA concerns me since it's not a highly desirable area. Can I donate it as a tax write off and would that really benefit me? what are my other options?
