Zillow nearby sales

I am running into a problem when attempting to use the Zillow nearby sales to run comps. I generally look for within .5 of a mile and use the average sqft of several to get a good feel for what the property should go for. Problem I'm running into it pulls up locally in St Louis for my partners every time. Yet it's not an option for me it doesn't even show up on Zillow listings. Yet if I look out of state like in NC for instance where I was on vacation they pull up without issues. Any tips? What gives?
