Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

House hacking, on my first four unit apartment building. Preparing my for next purchase.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Having the ability to live for free, while minimizing the taxes on my W2 income.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I found this deal off market while making relationships with local real estate agents.

How did you finance this deal?

FHA loan

How did you add value to the deal?

Personally updated and furnished all units, increasing the income on the property.

What was the outcome?

It’s given me the opportunity to save and prepare for my next upcoming purchase.

I’ve gotten the units from $750x2 and $800x2 to a consistent $900. 
current mortgage is $2500 monthly, refinancing to a conventional and removing mortgage insurance should bring me to $2100.
