What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
I convinced my fiancé to get an STR license and turn her home over to a short-term rental in Henderson, NV.
How did you add value to the deal?
We used STR cash flow to rehab the entire home.
What was the outcome?
More bookings.
Lessons learned? Challenges?
The STR business is difficult due to state and local guidelines. Red tape. We saved a lot of money by doing the demo ourselves.
