Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $80,000

Added two more doors to our portfolio. We purchased a duplex in Pittsburgh recently. It's a fixer upper but it will be a nice place with good potential when it's ready to rent.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

We wanted our first multi-family and the price was right.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

It was an off market deal that our wonderful agent found for us.

How did you finance this deal?

Armco Credit Union

How did you add value to the deal?

I'm currently renovating the property from top to bottom, new paint and trim, two new kitchens and bathrooms, and all new appliances are provided.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

We used out excellent agent, Samantha Young, from Howard Hanna in Cranberry PA. I would recommend her to anyone wanting someone that goes above and beyond in all that she does.
