BP Rent Estimator

Alright folks, I'm embarrassed to ask but I need it explained in a way that makes sense to me.

On the BP Rental Prop Estimator (under Tools) (Median Rent) let's say is $2500, but it's a duplex. Does that mean that you double it ($5k) or split it ($1250).

    Alright folks I got an answer from BP Support.  They tell me that the median rent is what could be charged for each side. So @Jack Tulloch was right.
