Mentorship

Hello all, I got into investing about mid-summer last year. I have yet to make my first investment because of the lack of knowledge and guidance that i so needed. Me and my business partner who is 19 years old as well are looking for a mentor to help walk us through our first couple of deals. We have been attending seminars and reading as much as we could, we have basic knowledge about this business. We need to take that next step, we would like for someone who is a veteran in the business to teach us and help guide us so that we don't make the wrong decisions. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and your help will be greatly appreciated.

...What is in it for the mentor? You need to find a way to be of value to the person you want to learn from.
