Investment Info:

Large multi-family (5+ units) commercial investment investment.

Purchase price: $1,400,000

Currently developing a 7 unit Tiny Home Community in Crystal River. This development will be partially short term rentals, with the remaining as long term rentals. The mission at UpCycle communities is to provide an affordable and minimalistic housing solution that empowers residents to emphasize strong community relationships, sustainability, and simplistic living. The focus of our developments is environmental consciousness, energy efficiency, and minimizing our carbon footprint.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I wanted to find an attainable living solution that is affordable, safe, and energy efficient for residents.

How did you finance this deal?

I am currently working with local banks in Crystal River to finance the development, the land has already been purchased.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

It has been very challenging finding an area of Florida that allowed us to build the Tiny Home community. Crystal River has been very receptive and is so excited to work with us due to the high demand of attainable housing.
