1930s Tudor revival in downtown Durham

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

This was a BIG project and the price point was near the ceiling for the area at the time

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I got this deal as a result of another deal and connected an investor buyer to the seller.

How did you finance this deal?

Cash and hard money

How did you add value to the deal?

I found the deal and sold the home as well as helping with decisions in the extensive remodel process

What was the outcome?

Home run. Minimal suprises and the house sold well!

Lessons learned? Challenges?

The basement of a home this big needs to be waterproofed properly. Buying a home full of someones stuff can also yield hidden treasures!

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I was the agent.
