Purchase price: $155,000
Sale price: $160,000
This was a property I found for one of my investor clients. I negotiated the price down from the original asking price of $179k. My client made some minimal cosmetic updates and now it is back on the market for $269k. What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
3 bed 2 bath homes are popular, and I look for at least these features. Along with staying under a certain price point for the local market, there are deals like this to be found. As an investor, rehabbing a home takes what would otherwise be a drab unattractive space, and makes it livable and move-in ready which homebuyers who are looking to live there long-term would prefer. How did you add value to the deal?
