Live in Flip Turned House Hack

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $271,000
Cash invested: $20,000

Sold this home to my partner where we have lived and house hacked as a live in flip by rennovating the basement and renting the top level. We now live pratically for free with the excepetion of utility costs and routine maintenance our housing expense is covered by our tenants.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The basement offered a great opertunity to force equity in the home.
