Single family short term rental

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I wanted a place to visit and potentially move into as a primary residence. I also love being able to provide an experience for others.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I found this deal on the MLS with the help of my agent. I went under contract just as rates were starting to get a little too high for comfort for most buyers, so I was able to offer low, negotiate fixes, closing costs, and seller to buy down my rate, without any competition.

How did you finance this deal?

My own capital

Lessons learned? Challenges?

There's always something that won't go as planned. Rather than reacting to it, roll with it, and learn from it.
