300% return in 2.5 years by holding until zoning changed.
Investment Info:
Large multi-family (5+ units) buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $38,000
Cash invested: $40,000
Sale price: $150,000
5 acre residential lot in a developed area. got it at half of the market price at the time and after two years inflation comes and also importantly, the zoning changed from low density (sfh) to high density which means much more commercial potential!
I feel I have underpriced it maybe I can do 200k instead or even hold it longer.
