My first investment property.
Investment Info:
Single-family residence buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $95,000
Cash invested: $12,000
This home was once a primary residence that I moved out of and did a rehab.
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
I had originally purchased the property back in 2009 so by the time I moved out I had a lot of equity in the house. I wanted to begin to own properties that were an asset.
How did you finance this deal?
I'm a veteran so it's financed through a VA loan
How did you add value to the deal?
I had a new roof put on along with aluminum siding and window frames. There were two large trees on the property that I had removed. Painted the lower half of the home (Brick). Bought a new front door (Red). Painted the inside throughout.
