First Property in beautiful Denver metro area

Investment Info:

Townhouse buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $162,000
Cash invested: $3,000

My first ever property bought in the beautiful Denver metro area! I originally bought this property in Dec 2015 for $162k with an interest rate of 3.5%, however, in 2021 I was able to refi for 2%.

Rent is $1950 a month and cashflow $616 every month.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Originally I had no idea what I was doing but I was convince I could buy a house after witnessing my ex-girlfriend buy a house and reading rich dad poor dad.

I bought this townhouse and started to house hack.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I used a realtor.

How did you finance this deal?

VA loan 0% down.

How did you add value to the deal?

New fence, toilet, kitchen appliances. Nothing major.

What was the outcome?

I'm still holding!
