My Second House Hack Duplex

Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $192,000
Cash invested: $18,600

Second Duplex, bought just before rising rates closed the door.
Same area/class as first duplex.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Need more cashflow in my life.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

With my eyes and my words.

Private Lender

How did you add value to the deal?

Buy & Hold, no added value neccesary

What was the outcome?

Hopefully a life long Buy & Hold

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Get a rate locked in ASAP on a quote in a rising rate market. Rate rose 1.5 points between pre-approval and purchase.
