Hard Money Loan via GROUNDFLOOR

Sarah Nowell
Posted

Investment Info:

Single-family residence hard money loan investment.

I decided to invest in a GROUNDFLOOR property with funds I've allocated specifically for hard money investment. The loan has an expected 11% interest rate over a period of 15 months. I did my due diligence with researching GROUNDFLOOR, the investment property, and the details surrounding the loan.

Even though this is technically my first investment, I look forward to purchasing my own investment property in the near future!

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I heard advertising for GROUNDFLOOR on the BiggerPockets podcast and was intrigued.

I learned about Groundfloor at a RE seminar. I have a little bit invested and have not lost any capital. I like that you can invest as little as $10 at a time. Several of my investments have foreclosed or gone into default, and my earnings were negligible, but I have always gotten my money back.
