Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Knoxville.

Purchase price: $158,000

2 *OLD* Single Family Homes on 1 plot. It was my first deal and my first ever home purchase so I honestly didn't know a lot walking in. I was a single woman and bullheaded enough to take on a big project. How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Found on the MLS. It was on the market for almost 6 months with multiple price reductions so I offered 5000 less than asking. I worked with an agent that I had viewed another property with.

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional.

How did you add value to the deal?

SOOOOOO much! Every surface was been redone or repainted. New appliances and everything.
