Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

bought a 3/2 single family home with a cottage that my wife and I renovated and rented out to a well qualified annual renter!

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

essentially house hacking with an additional unit - almost covers our mortgage on the main house!

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

MLS, my wife and I are realtors so we were able to negotiate and use our commission towards closing costs

How did you finance this deal?

conventional loan

How did you add value to the deal?

renovation and sweat equity

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

yes, we are full time real estate agents!!
