Second investment property

Investment Info:

Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.

Currently, House Hacking and making improvements on the property to increase rent.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I was able to get a great deal on the property and was able to have the rent cover my mortgage allowing me in reinvest in the property.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I worked with a real estate agent.

How did you finance this deal?

Traditional mortage

How did you add value to the deal?

Currently working on improving the following
1. Roof
2. HVAC
3.Water heaters
4.Siding
5. Windows

Both units have had cosmetic improvements completed since purchasing the property.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Finding a property management company that aligned with my style. I want my renters to know they are in good hands.
