Buying land with no money down but seller wants cash only.
Hello all,
I am looking to purchase a empty lot to build a dream home. A property came up in my area and as I investigated the lot, I found out the seller only wants cash. My question is, how can I convince the seller to sell me this property If I don't have the full amount of cash on hand? Is there any work around if the seller only wants cash? What would be the best alternative to purchase a lot worth roughly 175k with out having the full cash on hand? I have around $50k or 30% to put as a down payment but I don't know if the seller would accept that. I just asked if the seller is open to seller financing. I know that is one option. But alternatively can I go to a bank and pull out a loan to purchase a lot? I do have a last resort back up plan where someone could loan me the full amount but I do not want to go that route until I exhaust all of my options. I really want this acre property and would do anything to get my hands on it. Please send me some ideas or work arounds to purchasing a lot. Much appreciated BP Fam!
