Investment Info:

Townhouse buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $199,000
Cash invested: $10,000

This property is located in Pigtown, Baltimore. A few blocks from the Ravens and Orioles stadiums.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Looking to start off with my first rental. House has decent bones and is in a good neighborhood.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Drove around Baltimore with a family member and decided Pigtown was the best place for an investment for the amount of money I was looking to spend. I ended up receiving 3% on closing cost assistance which is how I only ended up putting 10k down.

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional 30-year loan. My PMI ended up being very low because I fell underneath the average income of the area. In addition, I received a discount on the interest rate.
