Alabama Buy and Hold property

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $140,000

1380 sq ft, 3 bed, 2 bath, single family home on .75 of an acre that I purchased while stationed in Alabama. Lived in it during the duration of my stay and is now a full time rental property.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Purchasing at least one buy and hold properties at each duty location

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

with an agent and the deal was done in around 45 days

How did you finance this deal?

VA Loan

How did you add value to the deal?

Small touch ups such as paint, stain and landscaping.

What was the outcome?

Buy and hold property producing $700 a month
