Investment Info:

Condo buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $315,000
Cash invested: $3,000

VA Loan purchase
planning on living in 1st year, then renting out, and holding for very long term.
But I want to find another property I could use to rent before the VA property becomes eligible

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Needed a place to live and wanted to use a VA loan to purchase something

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

zillow

How did you finance this deal?

VA Loan
0 down

How did you add value to the deal?

The deal appraised for 15,000 more than purchase price

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I want to purchase something that will generate cash flow, however the VA loan requires I live in the unit for at least the first year. What can I do in the meantime to get into another property while I wait to be able to use this one as a rental unit.
