Self-employed homeowners need programs conducive to their unique financial circumstances. Our borrower was purchasing a primary residence and was denied by another lender because they did not have sufficient cash reserves nor documentable income. We proceeded creatively with our Portfolio program to structure financing that does not require a borrower to show cash reserves or income documentation.
All homeowners are not alike, so loan programs need to be adaptable to every customer. In the end, we rescued this home for our client and saved our Realtor partner's well-earned commission.
