Average Roof Cost per Square Foot?
I'm trying to get an idea of what Roof's cost to Replace/Repair? I figured as many answers as possible would help put it in perspective. What is a good "Rule of Thumb" to go by in pricing roofs? Assuming that the roof is fairly standard with no intense angles. Also, I am in Dallas/Fort Worth if that is of any help with regard to pricing variances?

Roofs are typically measured in "squares," not square feet. A square is equivalent to 100 square feet (so, it's easy to convert the price).
The cost for roofing will vary tremendously based on area, climate, contractor, type of house, type of roofing, etc. Assuming you're talking about typical composite shingles, you're probably looking at about $95-110 per square in much of the country these days. Remember, certain parts of the country will require some additional material costs based on local custom and climate (ice protection in the north, for example).
As for labor, that's the part that will vary the most. In Atlanta, I'm paying about $60-70 per square for labor -- this is for insured contractors (licenses aren't required for roofers in Atlanta). In Milwaukee, I'll paying $100 per square for labor, though most roofers in Milwaukee are charging $150-200 per square. In general, these are going to be the extremes ($60 per square through $200 per square).
So, if you add materials and labor, you're likely talking between $150 and $300 per square for a licensed/insured contractor who is accustomed to working with investors.
Of course, if you want a different type of roof (metal, aluminum, clay, rubber, etc), or if the roof is complex/steep, or if the roof is really high, you'll definitely see variations from that range.
