NYC REI meet ups/groups

Hi BP family! I am a firm believer that you are the sum of who you surround yourself with. Although I appreciate this virtual community, I would like to personally connect with other like-minded individuals who are interested in REI, just starting out, or already well-versed in the investing game in the NYC area. The local REIA doesn't seem to be as active and the groups I've found on meet up are more so trying to pitch "guru courses". If anyone knows of any other active networking groups, please let me know! :)
