Networking during a pandemic

Hi everyone, first time poster here! I'm currently in the education stage of my real estate journey and it's becoming more and more obvious that networking and building relationships is going to be a huge factor in whether or not I'm going to be successful at this. I keep reading that you should go to REIA meetings and any other meet ups that you can find but it seems they're all virtual at the moment (which usually just means a live video presentation by whoever runs the meetings). Ive seen a few newbies making comments in Facebook groups trying to make some connections but they don't seem to be met with much of a response. So my question is... does anybody have any tips on how to network and make connections if you're a newbie in the current market??
