What’s your opinion on investing in North Las Vegas Real Estate?

Hi I’ve spend the last month getting educated on the process of buying rental properties, and I wanted to get an understanding of how many investors are actively looking for deals in my community. North Las Vegas has a reputation of having poor education, high crime rate, and drug use. I grew up in this city and I actually see improvements coming to the area. A new school has been built in front of my house, new stores are coming in, a movie theater was built near by, and there is interest from Amazon to built more warehouses. I see an opportunity here but I lack the education, the connections, and the income to afford a property. I’m curious about how much investors are paying attention to this area and the Las Vegas Area as a whole. Let me know of your thoughts!
