Sacramento meetups virtual/in person

Daniel Molina
Posted

Hello all,

My name is Daniel I am looking to connect with local investors in the Sacramento area. I know there is a West Sac and Folsom meetups thats has happened but the forum seems to have no updates. Does any know if there are meetups still? If not I’m more than willing to organize one for anyone that is interested in getting something going. Please let me know and thank you in advance!

Hey Daniel,

I had organized a few meetups and we had a decent turn out despite covid. I'd like to keep doing them in person as I enjoy talking REI over a beer and in a casual setting. I think doing a zoom meeting or virtual meeting is a good idea, however I'm not very familiar with the software. The few times I have used it, it seemed sort scrambled and hard to network and talk with different people as it ends up everyone talking over one another. I think if the virtual meetings were more structured it could work though, and I'm definitely down to hop on one if you get it going. In the meantime ill search for other venues in the area and keep my fingers crossed that we'll be able to meet up in restaurants again soon.
